Imran says journalist fabricated 'Ranbir edge report'

Zimbabwe Star (ANI) Tuesday 7th February, 2012

Imran Khan has denied saying that he has an "edge" over actor Ranbir Kapoor.

The actor was quoted as saying in January that he beat his Bollywood rival in on-screen couplings as he can be romantically paired with Kareena whereas Ranbir can't.

Imran is paired with Kareena in 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.'

But Imran denied making any such remarks and asserted that the news was made-up.

"That is not my quote. Some one said that I can work with Kareena and Ranbir can't, and I merely said Yes, that is true. I don't make such antagonistic and aggressive statements. That is the fabrication of some eager journalist," he said. (ANI)
