Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has issued a hands-off warning over Mamelodi Sundowns target Thabiso Kutumela.
On Wednesday, Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi fuelled speculation when he admitted he is a big fan of the 27-year-old but was not sure if he would be coming to Chloorkop.
Team of Choice captain Kutumela enjoyed a fantastic season and was rewarded with being nominated for the DStv Premiership Player of the Season and the Players' Player of the Year.
He also earned a callup to the Bafana Bafana squad for Thursday's friendly against Uganda and is in line to start after Percy Tau withdrew from the squad after testing positive for Covid-19.
And with Downs on high alert, Kadodia is adamant that he will not sell the club's star player no matter the price.
"If Sundowns want to talk they can come and talk, but I am not keen to sell the player. I have put a no-sale tag on his neck," said Kadodia as quoted by the SowetanLIVE.
"I got the best out of the boy and feel that he must stay here for another season before I decide on selling him.
"He played an important part to make sure that we survive relegation. I doubt that we will see Kutumela in another shirt next season."
