The UAE delegation was led by Ahmed Al Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Electricity, Water, and Future Energy Sector at the Ministry; and included Ali Qasim, Director-General of the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation; and Khalid Al Hosani, Director of the Geology and Mineral Resources Department at the Ministry.

He emphasised that the UAE's participation reflects its ongoing commitment to exchanging expertise and strengthening regional integration in the fields of energy and mineral resources.
Al Kaabi also reviewed the UAE's experience in integrating distributed renewable energy production units into the national grid, a move that has enhanced efficiency, reduced emissions, and supported the industrial sector by lowering operational costs.
Participants reviewed the organisation's achievements over the past year, including the launch of key initiatives.
